Festivals. What are the first things that pop into mind?
Music! Drugs! People! Dancing! Arguably Over-Priced Food!
A festival is whatever you want it to be. Personally, it is MOSTLY about the music as I am blessed with a naturally intoxicated demeanour. It was PARTIALLY about witnessing my friends get involved with questionable shenanigans that never ceases to amuse me.
Did LoveBox deliver that? It certainly did.
Despite, the fact that I practically abandoned the majority of my mates to get into a more favourable spot in the audience due my rather small stature (I genuinely get mistaken as a child).
Here are a couple of snapshots from my LoveBox companions and who I managed to see over the two days. Unfortunately, my phone died but these are professional shoots flying about including two of my companion’s festival fits.
[DAY 1] Gace Carter, Mabel, SZA, Anderson. Paak & The Free Nationals, Diplo, Vince Staples and Skepta
[DAY 2] Kali Uchis, The Internet, Novelist, N.E.R.D, Mura Masa, Annie Mac and Childish Gambino
The majority of the time consist of walking/waiting/pushing about in-between sets then finally dancing whilst attempting to singalong once your favourite artist hops on stage. While dodging the occasional flying elbow from the unexpected mosh-pit formations.
This was during a London heatwave and being in the same park for roughly 20 hours over the jam-packed weekend. This is a testament of our determination in the pursuit of a good time.

These type of events are the ones you find reminiscing with mates in the next couple of years.
Until Next Time,
Salve Salvaña
