FESTIFEEL 2017 – Second music event I have attended in October. it was by far one of the events I have been most excited for. These are a couple of the reasons why:
- It was for the breast cancer charity, CoppaFeel!
- Hosted in the House of Vans
- The lineup was sexy
- There was a lot of glitter, boobs and fun (just my scene)
Let’s just say I was over the moon to have been given the opportunity to attend this event.
In their own words regarding their work:
“We are the first breast cancer charity in the UK to solely create awareness amongst young people, with the aim of instilling the knowledge and tools they need to get to know their bodies. We like to talk about a serious message in a light-hearted way, empowering people to start healthy habits for life.”
Perfect excuse to touch your boobs on a daily basis (get you mind out of the gutter).
Nearly everyone should know or be related to anyone who has or had cancer at one point or another.
Kris Hallenga is one such individual being diagnosed with secondary breast cancer at the age of 23. She went on to found CoppaFeel!, explore the rest of her story HERE.
The event the was curated by Kris’ friend, Fearne Cotton, a British Television presenting icon who many people my age grew up watching on CITV and CBBC with shows like Eureka and Finger Tips.
Let me iterate the lineup was SEXY.
There was no doubt no shortages of boobs and fun!
I got even got myself a pretty pair of customised Vans…
I also bought a handful of other FESTIFEEL! booby goodies. I never feel any guilt when spending money for charity. It’s all for a great cause and I buy into it 100%.
Go to CoppaFeel! or any charity you feel strongly about and support them in any which way you can. From buying cool charity merchandise to voluntarily providing your services.
