The Rays of Sunshine Concert (24/10/2016)

Just when you think that October will end quietly for me. Well… you’re wrong. I’m a sucker for a sexy line-up and a good cause. Sign me up!

That’s exactly what The Rays of Sunshine Concert offered just that. Just look at their highlighted acts but there was so much more.

This was the full line-up of the night: Shawn Mendes, Nicole Scherzinger, Conor Maynard, Louisa Johnson, Fleur East, DNCE, Lawson and James TW.

It was a beautiful mix of talent that graced the stage to show their support for what The Rays Of Sunshine charity have provided for bringing joy to ill children. Giving complimentary tickets to plenty of children and their families. These kids were able to watch their idols perform on stage and showing that music can brighten up their lives.

Here is the highlights of the concert all summarised in a YouTube video .

What was especially touching was the The Rays of Sunshine Children’s Wish Choir, a group of 14 seriously ill children, singing their hearts in their rendition of Ain’t No Matter High Enough (by Diana Ross) with Nicole Scherzinger backing them up.

It was an amazing night out and every penny spent was well worth it – knowing that it is all going towards a fantastic charity that strives to make ill children’s dreams into reality. It was truly magical that didn’t fail to bring a smile to everyone’s faces.

The SSE Arena (Wembley) were the proud sponsors and host of this event. It was definitely a really spacious venue with plenty of ventilation. This was all-seating concert for the safety of the children.

I would have the full-on standing rave experience at the every same venue just three days after…
